Capri is a must see shopping destination with a pure, naked, unique beauty which will leave you dreaming of your return.

Arriving at the madness of Naples airport and entering through an arrivals hall filled with live music and all the hustle and bustle of a big vibrant city masks the fact that a short drive down the motorway lies one of the most breath taking coast lines this planet has to offer. Once leaving the motorway and passing the historical town of Pompeii sitting at the foot of mount Vesuvius, you enter a world where every turn of a corner reveals what can only be described as living art and beauty realised. The small winding road only adds to the unique authenticity that pours out from the hill tops, lemon trees, cliff faces and small Italian villages along the route.

After a jaw dropping hour and a half drive you arrive at the Amalfi coast. The road remained winding but the view opened up across the Tyrrhenian sea making you realise that the best was most certainly left until last. The main areas on the coast are the village of Amalfi, completely idyllic and peaceful with a small village centre surrounded by a beautiful Italian port, the village of Positano by far the most built up of the villages with numerous hotels and restaurants, the village of Ravello with breath taking views, its famous historic villas and it five star street lined with the most luxurious 5 star hotels and of course the one and only Capri.

The Amalfi coast remains unique due to their strict planning rules and the insistence of having nothing that disturbs the peace or natural habitat of the coast line. The jewel in its coastal crown is Capri. Capri is an island like no other which can only be reached by sea. Passing the faraglioni or three rocks, the boat pulls in to the port of Marina Grande. The choice of travel from the port is either by Funicular (tram) or via the 1960’s style taxis. Along with its historic beauty and authentic feel it plays host to the world’s most luxurious boutiques. Almost every brand is represented on the island and down every cobbled street (leave the Louboutins and Jimmy Choo’s at home) there lies a plethora of stylish boutiques; many of which design specific products that can only be purchased on the island of Capri.

From Alberta Ferreti to Versace with Gucci, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Loro Piana, Pucci, Ferragamo, Hermes and every other designer brand, Capri lives up to its reputation as the shopping mecca of the Italian Riviera. In a time where every major city have streets that have door to door designer brands, whether New York's 5th Avenue, Paris' Triangle D’or or London’s Old Bond Streets Maisons, Capri offers an authenticity and history of designer fashion like no other. It has the rare ability to amaze both inside the stores as well as every time you leave with its incredible scenic views.
